Raelean Hendrickson- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

I have been working as a Master level social worker since 2004 and became a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in 2009. For the past two decades, my work has centered on supporting individuals, families, and communities through moments of transition, identity exploration, trauma, and the challenges of navigating complex systems. My early career was grounded in family systems, adoption services, attachment focused work, and child welfare. Those years taught me a great deal about resilience, relational healing, and how early experiences shape the ways we move through the world. I also bring over fourteen years of experience in medical social work and clinical case management. That work taught me how complex even the best systems can be, and how essential it is to center the person receiving care. My focus was on providing clarity, aligning care across providers, and bringing systems together in ways that truly supported the individual in front of me. I learned how important it is to have someone walking with you — especially when you’re not in a place to advocate for yourself. These experiences continue to shape how I think about care and how I show up in the therapy room. Along the way, I’ve been involved in equity and inclusion efforts, including serving on a Health Equity Advisory Team. I was also honored to receive recognition for this work at the national level — not because of the award itself, but because it reflected the values I try to bring into every space: dignity, access, and care for all people. I practice from a trauma informed, identity affirming, and systems aware perspective. I also recognize the privilege I hold in my gender identity, sexuality, and class, and I work to ensure that my practice remains grounded in humility, accountability, and ongoing learning. Outside of my professional life, I’m a parent to two teenagers, and like anyone else, I’m still learning and growing. I make intentional space in my own life so I can show up with steadiness, clarity, and compassion. My role isn’t to direct your life or decide your path — it’s to create a grounded, supportive space where your own strength, capacity, and direction can come forward.
